I started KTCHN with the goal of bringing fresh, affordable, and ultra-personalized meals direct to my door; meals that I could eat regularly, without the toll of constant takeout on my health and bank account.
I found myself limited at conventional restaurants and meal delivery services because I wanted certain ingredients of a menu item but not others. And from years of working in the restaurant industry, I noticed that “healthy” options can still have extra oils and sugars that wouldn’t be used if we made the food at home. I wanted my recipes, but prepared for me.

Then as food prices continued to rise, even fast food was quickly becoming a luxury - and cooking at home requires time, knowledge, and energy to plan, shop, prep, and manage your fridge’s inventory. On top of all that...
